Visual Arts Adult
Bob Ross Painting Workshops
Learn the Bob Ross painting technique as seen on
TV. All materials are provided and you will leave the
class with a finished painting ready for framing.
Please contact the Center for additional schedules

Wednesday 6:30 to 8:00p.m.
Learn various hand building clay techniques: pinch,
coil, slab and how to throw on the potter’s wheel.
Material’s will be available to be purchased from the
instructor; earthenware clays, glazes. Tools
supplied f by the Art Center.

Adult Drawing
Wednesdays 6 -9 p.m.
Adult drawing for beginning to intermediate artists.
Learn how to use Berol Prisma Color pencils,
charcoal and pastels or just improve your drawing
and shading techniques.
8 classes for $100
Stained Glass
Fridays 6pm-8pm
Learn the Tiffany method of creating stained glass.
Tiffany’s primary method involves the use of copper
foil allowing the designs to be intricate and
decorative. Additional materials are required and
are available from the instructor.

Water Color Workshops
First Saturday of each month 9:30am-4pm
The workshop is designed for you to learn
techniques and the process of watercolor. List of
materials is available at The Center office. Register

Visual Arts Youth
Art Adventures
Wednesdays 4pm-5:30pm
Students create an actual portfolio consisting of
many varied subjects. Children learn to draw
animals, cartoons, people and landscapes.

Youth Drama Classes
with Meaghan Fenner

Monday 5:00-6:30 pm
Age 6-8: Students will work on a showcase based
on fairytales. They will be side-coached in reading
and given basics in acting.
Tuesday 5:00-6:30 pm
Age 9-12: Students will work on writing a showcase,
spending class time to write and prepare a short,
basic, original script. Class work will consist of
scenework, monologues, and playwriting.
Wednesday 5:00-6:30 pm
Age 13-18: Students will work on monologues,
scene work and process in preparation for
Thespian competition, college auditions and
general class work. The showcase will be a night of
scenes and monologues.
Dance Movement for Actors 12-19
with Kristen Aston
Thursday 5:15-6:30 pm
8 classes for $100
Students will work with timing, counting of music,
learning beginner terminology for dance
movements and positions. Learn “staple” dance
moves to assist the actor with audition and/or
shows. Students will learn stretching for more
flexibility and ballet movements for placement and
discipline. They will memorize combinations, use of
formation changes, and partner work to assist with
awareness of other’s space on stage. Lastly, they
will build confidence to “perform” a dance number!
Dance Youth thru Adult

Tuesday (1 class)
*Ballet/Creative Movement, Ages 7-11
Time: 5:30- 6:30

Ballet Course Description- This course is
designed for students to gain an understanding of
Ballet technique and terminology, as well as
building strength, executing proper rotation, body
alignment and movement coordination. The
structure of a class will include warm-up/stretch
exercises, barre work, center, allegro (jumping)
and reverence.
Wednesday (2 classes)
*Modern-Beginner/Intermediate, Ages 9-16
Time: 5pm-6pm
*Modern- Advanced/Professional, Ages 13 and up
Time: 6pm-7pm

Modern Course Description (Beginner- Advanced) -
This course is designed for students to enhance
individual style, as well as freedom of movement,
musicality, rhythm, and expression. Students will
also gain some knowledge of Dance
Improvisation. The structure of a class will include
floor warm-up, stretch/strength exercises, center,
jumps, turns, and traveling combinations across
the floor.
Thursday (2 classes)
*Jazz Dance for Teens, Ages 13-18
Time: 5pm-6pm
*Jazz/Stretch Adult Dance, Ages 18 and up
Time: 6pm-7pm

Jazz Course Description (Teens and Adults) -
This course is designed for students to enhance
rhythm, energy and expression. The structure of a
class will include warm-up, stretch/strength
exercises, center, jumps, turns, and traveling
combinations across the floor.
